This beautiful and impeccably maintained bright red 250-year-old Nanak Shahi haveli of Rai Bahadur Rattan Chand's lineage nestles on almost an acre on the prestigious Mall Road in Amritsar. It is the first and only holistic spa resort in the northern plains of India. This haveli, which was run in the 19th and early 20th centuries as a guest house for visiting officials from abroad, was a accustomed to being frequented by royalty and eminent personalities.
